Low temperature salt bath furnaces (920°F) are ideal for solution heat treatment of aluminum.
With custom designed isothermal quench equipment, it is possible to treat ductile iron products that were heretofore considered "border line cases".
With improved quenching severity, the increased rate of cooling provides the necessary rate of heat extraction to avoid undesirable high temperature transformation products.
Minimal distortion, and the ability to do finish machining before hardening, while pieces are still soft, results in lower production cost.
