OUR HISTORY

Ajax Electric Company was incorporated in late 1953 and began manufacturing Ajax Electric Company Salt Bath Furnaces for commercial applications in January 1954.  Ajax Electric Salt Bath furnaces used immersed electrodes from the outset so that all heat was generated within the bath itself.  Ajax Electric Company Salt Bath furnaces quickly became known for their rapid and uniform heating, automatic preheating, buoyancy minimizing distortion, and efficient use of floor space.

The company then consolidated from two locations in 1976 to its present single location in Huntingdon Valley, PA.  Today, Ajax Electric Company is privately owned by both active and retired employees.
