| Save Labor costs with Salt Bath Brazing & Dip Brazing | Molten salt
has such a high heat capacity and heats so fast that only the imersed portion
of a piece of work is heated. Thus, widely divergent metallurigical properties
can be obtained in different parts of the same piece by selective dip
heating. With temperature control of ±5°F uniformly throughout the bath, distortion is minimized for brazing of copper, brass, or silver. Time cycles are governed by thickness of the metal, and most jobs can be done in a few seconds. Operation is fast, selective heating is possible, and there is no scaling or decarburization. No flux is needed for copper & brass brazing. After the metal flows, parts can be air cooled, water or oil quenched. |
